Dr Kirsty Laws

About

Dr Kirsty is an experienced and compassionate GP dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care.

After completing her medical training at the University of Otago, Dr Kirsty began her career as a house surgeon in Wellington before undertaking GP training and working in Brooklyn and Island Bay.

Her career then took her overseas — first to Australia, and later to Hong Kong, where she spent seven years working in both a refugee camp and a long-stay hospital, caring for patients with spinal injuries and neurological conditions.

Her special interests include family medicine, elderly care, long-term disabilities, and diabetes management.
