Mental Health Nurse Sonya -
Mission Bay & Remuera Doctors locations
Our specialist mental health nurse, Sonya, offers one-on-one clinics specifically for mental health support.
Sonya has specialist training in Mental Health and Addiction in Primary Care. She works with adults and youth who are dealing with problems such as depression, anxiety, addiction, self-harm, and eating disorders.
Sonya offers 30-minute appointments in person or online. These cost $90.

Health Improvement Practitioner -
Freemans Bay Medical location
Ash is our new Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) based at Freemans Bay Medical, but patients from all three locations are welcome to book appointments with her.
Her services are FREE for our enrolled patients.

Health Improvement Practitioners support patients of all ages across a wide range of concerns, including:

Sleep problems

Chronic pain

Anxiety and stress

Identity concerns (including cultural, sexual, and gender identity)

Parenting and relationship challenges

Loneliness and social concerns

Domestic violence support

Addiction concerns

HIPs are generalists — meaning they can work with anyone about anything impacting wellbeing. Appointments are practical, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward with clear strategies.
