Dr Peter Newman

About

Peter grew up in Timaru before completing his medical training at the University of Otago. He has worked across a broad range of medical and surgical specialties throughout the Auckland region before entering General Practice. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Women’s Health and a Certificate in Dermoscopy.

Peter enjoys the diversity of General Practice and the opportunity to build relationships with patients, providing comprehensive and personalised care across all stages of life.

Outside of medicine, Peter enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, travel and pursuing creative interests including woodworking and pottery.
