ADHD Assessments

New Adult ADHD Assessment & Prescribing Clinic.

A comprehensive 3-step pathway

 

We now offer a multidisciplinary ADHD assessment service for adults aged 18+. It’s for everyone – you don’t have to be enrolled with us. We aim to bring thorough, affordable care for people with ADHD traits who want to better understand how their brains work.

Information

Step 1 : Pre-Assessment Screen Questionnaire 

Start with an initial screening questionnaire to support a thorough and well-prepared ADHD assessment.

Step 2 : Comprehensive ADHD Assessment

A detailed ADHD assessment led by a registered mental health nurse with specialist ADHD training, working closely with our ADHD-trained GP. You will receive a personalised report with your diagnoses and treatment recommendations.

 

Step 3: Prescribing & Ongoing Care

If you choose to consider medicine, you will meet with our specialty-trained GPs to work out which medicine best suits your needs, and to create your personalised treatment plan.

Payment Policy 

The comprehensive ADHD assessment process require pre-payment before we can proceed. Payment for both stages is collected at the time you submit your pre-assessment form. This allows us to allocate clinical time and ensure timely access to your comprehensive assessment.

What Happens After You Submit Your Pre-Assessment

Once your pre-assessment form and payment are received, you will be placed on the list for a comprehensive ADHD assessment. Our current estimated wait time for this appointment is approximately 8 weeks. Estimated wait time will be updated weekly.

Our Services

Step 1

Online Screening

 

Every assessment begins with an initial screening questionnaire.
This is an online tool designed to explore symptoms commonly associated with ADHD. 

Comprehensive Assessment for ADHD

$550  + $75 ECG if req

This is a detailed, individualised ADHD assessment with our specialist ADHD mental health nurse. It can be conducted in person or virtually and includes:

· A thorough online then face to face or online diagnostic assessment interview

· A multidisciplinary review of your results

· A written report outlining any relevant diagnoses and treatment recommendations

· Baseline measurements of your vital signs (blood pressure, height, weight, heart rate), as well as an electrocardiogram (ECG) if required.

 

Your results will be reviewed by our multidisciplinary team, including our expert ADHD doctor. You will receive a comprehensive written report outlining relevant diagnoses and treatment recommendations.  

Step 2

GP ADHD Appointment

$280

Step 3 is all about options. Our team will discuss your individualised treatment plan, so you can choose the best option for your needs. Treatment may include medicines, and/or

counselling, therapy, lifestyle change and wellness support.

 

If you choose to explore medicine, you will meet with our specialty-trained GP who can initiate and manage ADHD medication as part of your care.
